By ticking the box below, I acknowledge, agree and consent (as required) that:

• through my RMS profile, and my participation in the project, the ARC will collect and hold personal and sensitive information, or other confidential information, relating to me, including (but not limited to) my racial, ethnic, or cultural status, country, date of birth, foreign associations, financial support or relationships, and conflict-of-interest declarations (‘information’);
• the ARC collects and may use this information for purposes related to ARC functions and activities (e.g., ARC’s administration of grant programs, performance of statutory functions, and provision of support to other Commonwealth entities);
• such information will be visible to, and accessible by, other RMS users (including personnel of the ARC (i.e., staff, assessors), and/or staff from one or more Client Agencies or Research Offices, and at times, other Commonwealth entities, including those who may not have a role in the relevant program or legislative compliance);
• I consent to the collection, use, holding and disclosure of this information by the ARC and other Commonwealth entities, including (without limitation) for purposes relating to:
  • consideration of any application for grant funding that I have submitted, or otherwise I am involved in;
  • administration of a grant or grant agreement;
  • considering and acting in relation to matters concerning research integrity and research security, such as, information provided by or about me in an application or into RMS being used to conduct due diligence checks, including with national security or intelligence agencies;
  • ensuring compliance with applicable laws;
  • my involvement in any activities for or on behalf of the ARC (including assessing grant applications);
  • any other purposes reasonably connected to any grant program administered or supported by the ARC;
  • the performance of grant administration, due diligence, regulatory, and other, functions by those other Commonwealth entities, including, where those other Commonwealth entities may use the information for their own CFI purposes (non-ARC purposes), and
  • if my application is successful, my name, field of research and institution may be published by the ARC, the ARC's Policy Partner and/or the relevant Minister.
